"There’s SO much more to this process than just recognizing we’re all one, that you are God, that separation doesn’t really exist, and so on. That stuff is bang on, but it’s just the foundation. Enlightenment 101, if you will." ;)

I got a kick out of this, Ariel. :blink :D

What you say about everything boiling down to deeper and deeper levels of surrender, that is my experience also. It is like I am understanding that all that is happening, all of it, is the work of the Self, and it was never me, but always Me. And I may as well let go of all care and concern about everything and just trust. This is a tall order. Not that the Self who is doing everything anyway can't handle it, but it feels like dying. Anyway, just wanted to share that with another who may understand.

Thank you for the book recommendation Ariel. :) I will try to pick up this one soon. It seems like every book I read on enlightenment helps the mind surrender just a little more, as long as there is no clinging to the concepts. :rolleyes

I'm glad that this book is able to help you evolve further. I certainly can recognize the phase of having to clear past life negative influences. I facilitate the process itself for many of my clients through reading their akashic records. Indeed the unfolding process towards greater clarity, purpose and joy is a beautiful one! I'll be interested to get the book. Thanks for the recommendation!

just got this book today and it looks like exactly what i needed at this point to continue on from where i am right now. love how you said that realizing we are all one is enlightenment 101, but that's just the beginning! very few resources/advice on moving on from there and knowing how to deal with life from there on. although yes, it always reverts back to surrender, but still, until one reaches that absolute state of surrender, it can get quite freaky and lonely. thanks for the recommendation!

The only book I read about the process after awakening and up to existence on higher planes is "The Nine Freedoms" by Dr. George King, a western master of yoga.
Its a quite unknown book and master, maybe because it is too advanced and/or maybe because of the (some might call it cheesy) flying saucer-stuff in it.
Anyways, this one increased my spiritual striving tremendously, and cleared up alot of things and also triggered many new questions inside of me.

The synopsis of this book is, that selfless service is the supreme way to evolve upwards(whereever that is, ha :rolleyes )

The one book you just wrote about, sounds very interesting as well.
Since so many people are waking up now, theres a great need for guidance on the path which is being given.

We were/are never left alone! :grouphug :wub
