From Lester's article:

"What's the next step?" he wondered. He had proven he could apply his new theory to business, he had over a million dollars; what was left to prove?

Then it occurred to him that the need to accumulate wealth was not security. It could all be lost. Also, the need for accumulation indicated a lack of conviction in one's ability to produce what one needed at will. Therefore, he decided, "From here on, I have everything I need as I need it," and proceeded to test out still another theory.

This is amazing. It's something we don't see taught often in the whole manifestation/law of attraction scene.

This is some ninja-level living! :lol

It goes hand-in-hand with one of my favorite Bashar videos.

Yeah totally. I feel like ultimately that's more of a true honest goal with regards to manifestation. It's really living by faith. There isn't a dependency on money to feel secure, nor is there an aversion to it. You just live in the flow of the river. It's knowing in the deepest levels of your being that you are totally, completely, 100% provided for and taken care of.

Wouldn't it be cool to travel the world that way? Just show up knowing everything is completely taken care of, even if you don't know a soul and don't know a lick of the language, :lol

Wow, I was shocked that Adyashanti actually said something about his own kundalini and spiritual experiences...I also had no idea that he was a frustrated "seeker" of enlightenment for sooo long before realization happened.

I remember listening to some of his talks when I first got into spirituality and thinking, "He makes enlightenment sound so simple...lucky bastard probably just 'woke up' one day." Lol, I guess we all go through the stages of "holy crap, when did life get so weird?" and "I'm going completely insane." :rolleyes

I really liked the article on Lester Levenson too. It's interesting to see what enlightenment would be like for someone who doesn't have a clue about spiritual concepts...it really makes the whole process much more simple and visceral.

Responding to Ariel's first post here...Yes, isn't it interesting that "The Work" didn't awaken Byron Kate, nor did the "Power of Now" awaken Eckhart Tolle. These so-called methods were developed later. Ultimately, it seems that these methods don't work. However, they do seem to have a purpose--to turn us into seekers so that the seeker can become exhausted, lol. I like John Sherman's simple suggestion, which is, "it's just you".
