Hello Ariel, like things are popping away there. For what its worth, My experience, too, has been that its not always pleasant. There are several times I have honestly never been more frightened in my life . . . , e.g. feeling energy literally
obliterate form (like there is a current running through you from your toe to your head, and that energy ramps up till you feel like your body is a wire that is shorting-out and starting to smoke and burn out) noises and words out of nowhere get shouted in your ear when you are relaxing and everything is quiet, dreaming of overflowing toilets and waking up with the shits, some get spontaneous kriyas, or start mouthing spontaneous mantras that freak them out at first (I have all my kriyas in dreams which I find kind of nice). . .
Well, my take on it is that God is not a toy, and sometimes we get reminded of the fact that "he" ain't playin' around and he's not here to entertain you.
I have been told that Kundalini is consciousness clearing itself, and the echo of that, or the effects, are felt in form. . .
When the energy hits form for the first time, it can be a bit of a shock until form adjusts to the energy. I have never felt extremely ungrounded or anything like that, except at first, but I can pass on a few things . . .
As Cassie said, get a good amount of protien, and get it from MEAT (fish, pork, chicken, beef. . . beef is the densest and the best for grounding.
Plenty of REST.
There is a balanced breath pranayam that works really well. Back straight, focus on the breathing, and focus on getting an even stream of breath in and out of both nostrils . . .
Actually, I'm getting this all from my guru's site . . . I saw you were looking at one of her other sites earlier. . .there is more info here, if you care to look.
