Something pretty powerful I’ve recently discovered to raise my vibration is closing my eyes and imagining a wiser, more evolved, future version of myself offering me hand and telling me, “You’re almost there!” or “You know where you’re going.” Or something of that sort. Sounds silly, but it definitely works for me.

Hootless state…love it! I defined it for myself as not having a care in the world. I have a friend who thinks it’s quite hilarious how I “just don’t care” whatever happens.

I was inspired to write this little poem during an early awakening experience:

My happiness does not depend on anything outside of myself
And that includes you
My bliss resides inside
My happiness never depends on you
My pleasure might

I’ve read some great posts today on your site Ariel! You do have a way with words! And you make me laugh, which I love!

I’m catching up on your site, that should answer a lot of questions I might have otherwise asked about what you have experienced so far. Your words speak to my heart (and all hearts, of course)!

Thanks, Ariel. This post helped me out of a funk of “spiritual guilt” (what an oxymoron!) “I” don’t have to feel guilty that I desire, I just have to find the joy within myself (it’s within me, or else I wouldn’t ever be able to experience it in the first place) so I can detach from the external world.

It may have come from an Adyashanti satsang, but it was here on your blog in your words when I needed it, proving that spiritual truth does not belong to any one person

Another excellent article and explanation Ariel! One of the greatest truths that people need a reminder of over and over is that indeed happiness always comes from within and never from looking at the external. I know many people just do not realize how much potential they have in creating their wants and desires. And the Abraham-Hicks addition is awesome.
