What is the purpose of life?
Our society has a misunderstanding, or more accurately a misdefinition, when it comes to our purpose in life.
Many people, when they talk about the purpose of life, think about careers, goals, a life mission, what we do to earn money, the roles we play, etc.
None of that is the purpose of your life.
You only have one purpose. Everyone has the same purpose. Different, but the same.
You are unique. You have never been this you before. You will never be this you again.
This “you” only has one life to live. Therefore your purpose, your mission, your goal is to be this “you” in the best possible way you can.
That’s it! That’s your mission. That’s the point of life. Be yourself.
What we call projects, careers, goals, achievements, and so forth are simply ways we choose of EXPRESSING who we are. They are not an end, in and of themselves. They are not the point. They are not the purpose. There is a deeper purpose to all our external activities in life.
You are the purpose. How you express yourself is up to you.
Be it Lovingly, Joyfully, Creatively, Helpfully, Nurturing, Traveling, Verbally, Colorfully, Loudly, Quietly, Safely, Dangerously, Financially, Powerfully, Famously, Artistically, Uniquely, Abundantly, Freely…
Whatever resonates most strongly with you, be that, for you are that. Choose the ways of being that are most harmonious with the Joy that you are.
When you are being yourself, you will find that the universe synchronistically lines everything up for you that you need in life, including your abundance. When you are truly being yourself, anything that doesn’t show up wasn’t needed. Everything that actually is needed shows up at exactly the right time.
The universe is pretty cool like that.

You can even consider making “being yourself” one of your New Years resolutions.
This year, I choose to be myself in every situation. I am who I am at all times in all places. My purpose in life is to be myself and express myself through this vessel I call “me,” always and in all ways.
