I’m still reading! And appreciating everything you’ve posted! If the world is my mirror and what my mirror is showing me is you, then I deem that to be a good thing! I’m picking up good vibrations!

Great point. Let’s talk about this a bit.

First off, what the mind believes it wants to make itself happy is very often NOT the same thing that would most effectively further one’s own evolution. The soul is looking for growth, expansion, realization of its true nature. It is infinite and immortal.

The body/mind is constantly looking for safety and security because it feels inherently insecure, cut off from the very source of Life itself.

Winning the lottery may be in your highest good. It may not. Perhaps you would be best served by experiencing poverty for a little while to help you in countless ways later on down the line.

Perhaps you’ve already finished up everything you can to this planet for this lifetime to do and it’s time for you to go. So you create the experience of your own death (There are no accidents. All death is a choice, but it’s often made at a much higher level, at an other than conscious level.)

You create and co-create your reality with the realities of all “others” and so if you get hit by a car, it’s because on some level, the other person felt that they needed to have that experience as well. There are many agreements made at higher levels which we are often not conscious of on this level. The universe is like an infinitely complex interconnected tapestry and we, in this physical reality, can only see but a very small fraction of the whole.

As for seeing the future, realize that there are an infinite number of future possibilities all existing Now. Our higher self has the capacity to see which ones would serve us best and, by giving us hints in terms of excitement and intuitive nudges, is gently guiding us towards that reality, even if it seems that it’s not going in the right direction.

For example, look at people like Lance Armstrong or Randy Pausch (the last lecture professor). They both developed cancer which may *seem* to be a bad thing. Why would someone create that experience!? Yet in the end, by following their joy, they created a reality which positively affected millions of people all across the world. Cancer was a tremendous gift to them.

All of life is this way.
