It’s funny how many of us turn enlightenment into some accomplishment to achieve, like earning a million dollars. “Just tell me what to do, what formula I need to apply in life, and then I’ll get to experience myself being enlightened!”
Yet it turns out that the very search for enlightenment is precisely what keeps us from realizing that we are already exactly what we are looking for.
The “task,” if you will, is not to go search for some goal “out there,” but to simply look within and realize our True Nature, of who you actually are.
The mind will never give us the right answer. It’s designed to literally “make up” answers through the power of our wonderful imaginations. It will make up a story that says we’re NOT enlightened and thus we must do something or go somewhere to find enlightenment.
What we are looking for is located somewhere beyond the imaginative mind, in the most obvious place possible: YOU ARE WHAT YOU ARE LOOKING FOR!

What if it’s the nature of the shoe to walk? Doesn’t matter what direction it is – just to walk? I mean a shoe just lying by the side of the road is simply pointless.

haha, good point, Katinka.
You’re right that it is in the shoe’s nature to walk. This is the case because it is a shoe, not because it’s trying to become a shoe. Do you see the difference?
Walking may be an expression of the shoe’s true nature, just like sitting in a closet or lying by the side of the path, but there is no “target” at the end of the path that’s going to show the shoe that it’s a shoe.
A great reminder Ariel, Thanks. All Paths do lead NO-WHERE, except when they lead NOW-HERE. Which is the same thing, really.

Grazie, Jesse!
We all experience losing, or should I say searching the path sometimes, or? Might it be in our nature to be lost and experience love only through a lens? Can we really engage Love and God fully without always thinking about “a way”? I mean even going to this blog is a certain way. Controlling the ego is the same I think.
I am sure that our hologram universe is kind of preventing us of being pure “God”. But what about Love then?
Share your wisdom with me.

You’re right celebrate. We do search for the path. It’s not bad or anything. It’s just how we’re brought up in our society. You know, go to school, make good grades, go to college, get a good job, and so on. There’s a “path” we’re told we need to follow for success and we naturally assume that the exact same thing applies to spirituality.
The thing is, with respect to academics and with life, you’re learning more, becoming something you’re not now, and so on. With spiritual growth, yes you become “more loving,” in a sense, but it all boils down to realizing (as opposed to learning) who you ALREADY are. That’s the key difference. The mind is designed to learn new things. Who you truly are, your true nature, already knows. It is what it is. I am that I am.
We absolutely “engage Love and God fully without always thinking about a way.” In fact, that’s the best way. To do so from our heart, not by logically trying to rationalize the best way to love. BE Love. Don’t think about Love.
This blog is not designed to be “the path” or anything. I’m simply sharing pointers that you can use in order to realize for yourself what you already know deep down. It’s not my intention to give you all the answers. Even if someone did, it wouldn’t be of the same level of value as you realizing your Truth for yourself.
How does our hologram universe prevent us from being pure God? We are Creators! Everything we see, do, think, touch, and say IS God. God IS All That Is, including this illusory physical Universe that pretends it’s somehow separate from God.
Ariel – great site and great message!
Enlightenment is truly within us and all we have to do is wake up, out of our illusory dream state and live it! And boy is it sweet!
