Heaven and Earth.. Not Two

Bringing Heaven Down to Earth. A famous statement.

From the perspective of duality, they are seen to be two different places, two different locations.

If we begin exploring metaphysics, we may learn about vibration and learn that what we call heaven may simply be a different vibrational frequency, perhaps a different state of consciousness. Thus the goal is to raise our vibrations or raise our level of consciousness. Perhaps we channel down higher vibrational energy, we do what we can to raise our own individual frequencies, or we raise the earth’s energy getting it higher and higher, closer to that which we envision to be heaven. Lots of different ways to play and love. :)

Yet there comes a time when, perhaps when the vibration gets high enough, I dunno.. not to sure about the metaphysical explanation here, but it is seen so clearly that there is no difference between heaven and earth, not even a vibrational difference. NONE. The two are one.

Heaven and earth. Not two, not two. As Jesus said, The Kingdom of God is at hand. It’s here! It’s here! (Turns out the guy was onto something…)

It’s All One…

Category   Enlightenment, Non-duality

It’s all One, It’s all One, It’s all One…

I’ve spent the past few hours laughing and laughing and laughing… I’m in New Orleans now and the absolute thrill of seeing the One in EVERYTHING is utterly incredible… Religious nutcases telling people they’re going to hell are the One. People arguing with them are the One. Understanding God is the One. Misunderstanding God is the One. The rain is the One. Getting lost in a random town is the One. Synchronistically finding your friends on a street corner as I did tonight is the One. The taxi is the One. The rain falling on my head is the One. Laughing as you dance through the streets in the rain is the One. Enlightenment is the One. Unelightenment is the One. The Law of Attraction is the One. Living a thrilling life is the One. Living a normal life is the One. Whatever you can possibly point to is the One. The ego is the One. Identification with the separate self is the One. Realization is the One. Duality is the One. Non-duality is the One. When it’s seen that everything everything everything and NOTHING is the One, what else is there but to laugh and laugh and laugh at this seeing? IT’S ALL ONE!!!

Everywhere you go, everything you see, and that which witnesses it all, it’s all the One… and what a thrill it is to see this, to realize this, and to be this. That which you are, whatever this is for no words can describe this, THIS IS IT. As it arises in this presence, there’s this lighthearted joy and the eruption of laughter and joy, of freedom and playfulness. In this seeing and in this letting go of trying to micromanage life, there’s this utter thrill of this life experience. In “other” beings it may arise differently, sure. All I can say is that in this seeing, this body that is arising here keeps laughing and laughing and laughing. That which Jesus saw and Buddha saw and Mohammad saw… this is it.

One of the biggest realizations in this is that there’s nothing to oppose. There’s nothing else out there and thus there’s nothing to resist. There’s just this pure seeing and thus suffering, which is based upon the resistance of something, is seen to be completely and utterly, well… not existent within this, even this that too is the One. When it’s seen that there’s nothing else because it’s all One and therefore even that which we call suffering is seen to be the One, there’s nothing to suffer about and suffering simply doesn’t exist. It’s pretty wild…

I talk to people about this and it seems like most people just don’t get it. They just brush it off as if I’m crazy, and yet that too is the One. When it seen so clearly that everything everything everything is the One, there’s nothing to resist, denounce, fear, or run away from. This is it, and everything is it.

It’s all One. It’s all One. It’s all One. There’s this utter perfection of being here and this is it. It’s already it. That which we all seek, we already are. This rocks. There is a thrill in this seeing. Totally. This may change and it probably will for it is just an experience, sure. But that which is witnessing doesn’t change. It is eternal, permanent, and everpresent. That which I am can’t be lost and is just being as it is. What joy this is… Beyond anything that can be named. Ahhh yes… :)

Experiencing Oneness and Suffering Simultaneously

Category   Duality, Ego, Enlightenment
So, enlightenment. Two of its main selling points (heh) are the end of suffering and the recognition that all is one.

Yet what I’ve found in my own experience as well as in speaking with others is that it’s possible to be in a state of Oneness while simultaneously experiencing suffering. Wait… what?

It was really confusing to see this and somewhat disheartening to be honest, as if the whole enlightenment thing ain’t all it’s cracked up to be. :lol Clearly there’s something off with this whole Oneness thing!

Sage Sarojini recently started up a blog and in it she addresses several of the difference between Oneness and Realization. Check out her explanation for more information. In her post she differentiates between the two and points out that the fear of ‘Nothingness’ is often the barrier between Oneness and Realization. This fear I will be addressing in the next blog post.

Until then, I’d just like to bring up the idea that there’s more to this journey than seeing that “we are all one.” :)

Seeing from the Eyes of Source

Sparkling Shore by Marc AdamusSparkling Shore by Marc Adamus

There is nothing to fear. NOTHING. All fear is an illusion. It exists solely in the mind and is a product of an innocent mind that has been disconnected, a word used very lightly, from its Source.

When there is a conscious reconnection to Source, or perhaps more accurately put, an expansion of awareness so that Source is seen to be an aspect of the full YOU that you are, fear then begins to dissolve. It is seen to be just a product of a limited mind. The thoughts of fear are completely overwhelmed by the conscious awareness of Source unmanifest. Our rock of safety is our connection to Source within, the very silence that exists everywhere at all times. Our home is Nirvana, the Kingdom of God, the Presence of the Infinite Self, the I Am that I Am. It is this home that we have never left except for within the dreams of our minds, a dream arising within the very Kingdom that we seek.

Fear, hate, judgment… none of these energies exist within the essence of what you are. They are distortions of pure essence, unhealed energies that are nevertheless inseparable from the totality of what you are. The Love in you, the Love in me, the Love in all… One Love. The Love that I am, the Love that you are, the Love that All That Is is… One Love.

It’s One. It’s all One. It always has been. Always will be. This can never change for this Truth abides in timeless eternity.

All experiences are part of the whole. Whether we say life is this way or life is that way, neither of those statements are actually absolutely inherently true. They are relative truths, all very much experiencable within the worlds created within our consciousness, very much like an endless spectrum of video games. You can play any game you want. Abundance, limitation, success, enthusiasm, joy, clarity, confusion, lots of friends, solitude… mix and match! It’s all up to you! Whatever you believe life to be, be open to the fact that Life isn’t actually that way. Life is the way it is, but we simply project our own perceptions onto it and call that “reality.”

When you realize how perfect everything is you will tilt your head back and laugh at the sky.

Going Beyond the Subject/Object Duality

Category   Enlightenment, Non-duality

Half Moon

The duality of subject/object is not real.

Going beyond the duality of subject/object involves the recognition that NEITHER of them actually exist. There is simply what is. Period.

Subject and object are creations of mind. Nothing more.

I AM, but I am neither subject nor object, for I am beyond both. There is no one else. There is no one else other than this I AM to be the other half of the supposed subject/object duality. There is simply what is, here and now, and here I AM.

“Returning to Oneness” is not about reconnecting two seemingly separate things, but the clear seeing that there never was any separation to begin with.

Is the dark side of the moon separate from the light side of the moon? Of course not. One moon, two perspectives.

Are you and I separate? Of course not. One I, two perspectives.

SAME THING!

Really there is no “dark side” or “light side” of the moon. There’s just the moon. Dark side and light side are made up lines that we draw in the sand. They have no existence outside of our minds.

Neither do you and I, whatever a supposed “you” and a supposed “I” would be. There is simply what is, nothing more, nothing else.

So the collapse of the subject/object duality is not that two seemingly separate things come back together, but seeing through them entirely to recognize that they don’t really exist as real entities at all. Because they aren’t even real, there’s nothing even there to be separate in the first place. There is an underlying Oneness. It is no thing that is one. This no thing is. This no thing is every thing.

“Returning to Oneness” is not putting the pieces back together again, but the recognition that it was impossible for them to ever actually be separate in the first place, for there never were any pieces. There is only the One.

Oneness and Changes in Social Dynamics

The way that social interactions are experienced seem to change significantly when one comes from this place of this one non-thing. Let’s reflect on some of the more prominent changes that occur, some of the fruits of oneness, if you will.

Oneness: Filling in the Gaps of the Ascension Process

Oneness by RashaI used to think Enlightenment was one single event, like winning a billion dollars where once you “get there,” you’re set for life. For some people there is a single awakening that totally changes everything, sure, but that spark is part of a much deeper and eternal journey. In my experience, ascension is very much a continuous process filled with countless changes. You never get to the end of infinity. ;)

There’s SO much more to this process than just recognizing we’re all one, that you are God, that separation doesn’t really exist, and so on. That stuff is bang on, but it’s just the foundation. Enlightenment 101, if you will. ;)

About two months ago I was intuitively guided to the bookstore, walked right up to a particular book, plucked it right off the shelf, sat down and began reading. I bought it that evening. Ever since then the book has been sitting on my nightstand next to my bed and I read it whenever I feel inspired to. It’s literally as if this book was written by a wiser and more experienced version of me, narrating my ascension process, and explaining to me what is going on with respect to all these internal shifts. It’s almost like I wrote this book several years in the future and brought it back in time with me to explain to myself what’s going on. :D

It fills in soooo many of the gaps for me about what’s going on here beyond simply resting as awareness.

This book is called Oneness, a dialogue received and transcribed by the author, Rasha.

Past Lives are yet more Dreams arising within Awareness

It’s interesting when past lives start to be remembered spontaneously.

It’s like consciousness can project itself into that life and experience it just as real as “this” life. My friend Davidya recently wrote a very fitting article on this topic which makes me laugh due to its alignment with my own experiences.

The dream world at night has the same level of (un)realness to any life, including this one.

All content is just an imaginative dream that arises within the context of awareness.

The I Am That I Am is everpresent throughout all space and time, here and now.

I Am infinite and eternal, able to call forth any aspect of myself for viewing and experience, as if the universes’ experiences were my own personal collection of movies.

I Am, here, living this human experience.

I am the watcher of the movies, not the character in the movies.

Yet the duality between the observer and the observed somehow are collapsing as well into simply just Isness.

There is the arising of Life as an expression of the I Am.

What is the I Am?

It is what I am. It is what You are. It is what All is.

There is only one true I that is. Pure beingness itself.

The I Am that you feel is the same exact I Am that I feel. That is the link that unites us.

You and I don’t have a life. You and I can’t lose our lives. We ARE Life itself.

There is One Life, flowing into and through itself. There is nothing but Life with which Life can interact with.

All mental ideas and things are but expressions of the One Life that is.

This lifetime you’re experiencing in this moment, any of your past lifetimes, the life experienced by other people, the lives lived by other conscious and unconscious beings… they are all equally dreams arising within consciousness.

You are the eternal undamageable Presence that is not subject to space and time nor anything that arises within it, the Presence that is in this world, but not of it.

I love me. I love you. I love life.

It is all One. Here and Now.

One Life, One Love, One Me, One You, One Us.
