So you know the whole classic “Go meditate on a mountain and give up everything and if you can find inner peace and well-being without all the worldly stuff, then you can have true happiness” idea? That’s all well and good, but I don’t think that’s necessarily everyone’s path. Plus it can be a convenient cop-out from actually living life and being the truth and love that you’ve realized yourself to be.
When we get inner inspiration in whatever form, we can think of our physical vessels as a sort of container or pipe. In order for the inspiration to continue to flow into us, we must ground that energy into this world by manifesting and creating whatever it is that we are inspired to create. This way Source has a reason to give us more ideas. Why give us more if we’re not already using what we’ve already received? We’re given natural gifts and talents for a reason here… Yes we can try and stop or ignore that flow, but that resistance is quite painful to experience. It feels to be very much out of harmony with the natural flow. In a nutshell, it sucks.
Who does it serve if we play small? Imagine if Edison didn’t bother inventing, if Beethoven ignored his impulses to compose, if MLK Jr. decided he’d be better off keeping his ideas to himself. It’s a great disservice to All That Is if we choose to hold back and not share out gifts to the world.
The opportunity here, in these times of blossoming self-awareness, is to recognize the unlimited potential in who and what you are, and to gift yourself with permission to express that knowingness as you choose to.

Surrender isn’t actually about not-doing, tossing in your cards, and giving up on life, but about playing the game in full alignment with one’s inner guidance, intuitive wisdom, connection with Source, or whatever phrase you wanna use.
Being silent certainly has its place, but not when it’s used as a way to resist the flow of life, as if being silent is somehow more spiritual or whatever. When we’re called to be silent, we’ll be silent. When we’re called to speak, we speak. Being silent is not necessarily something that we need to do in every moment. The same applies with speaking. Silence is the home of Source, yes, our true home, yes, but manifest physical reality is not separate from that or in any way inferior to that.
“I had an urge to express certain things and now I have and the urge is gone. That’s really the whole story.”
-Jed McKenna
This creative process is quite natural. Flow of the river.
Now the ego may try to control this process, invest itself in a particular outcome, need something in particular to happen, want to do things right, and so on, but this is far more simple than any of that. Inspiration arises, action is taken, and then the next thing comes… unless it doesn’t. Whatever happens, and I mean whatever happens, our experience of life becomes a progressively increasing degree of acceptance and surrender to what is. You basically go with the flow. This was discussed previously in the post about the second half of allowing everything to be as it is.
We all have creative inspiration. It’s normal. It’s natural. And in fact that’s the way life should be. How do we know? Because that’s what is.
When we try to box our creative endeavors into a particular form, whether it’s painting, speaking, writing, or whatever else… when we try to fit this flow of energy into a particular box, we actually prevent it from taking its natural form.
Creative energies can take any and every form, and no form is better than any other. I’m writing this simply for myself, but since myself includes you, this makes things that much easier.
Anyways, it’s totally okay to allow your path in life to meander whichever way it goes. Our actions don’t always have to take a particular form in order for us to be living in alignment with this creative flow. It’s about being who we are, regardless of what outer expression it takes.
It’s yet another let go of control, of being this as opposed to that, and of trying to do it right. Just flow with it, whatever form it takes. Just flow…
The other day the Abraham-Hicks workshop CDs recorded here in Atlanta arrived. It’s the workshop where I had an opportunity to speak directly with Abraham.
I’m listening to the CDs now and Abraham brought up a very interesting point which I had forgotten about until now.
There is this assumption that first the earth was created and then people somehow arrived on the earth. Either God placed us here, we developed into humans through the process of evolution, or whichever other theory you choose to subscribe to, and there are certainly many more.
However, once we begin coming to the radical realizations that there is no physical reality outside of you, that physical reality lives within you, and that you are the physical reality you think you live in, this throws a wrench into the whole system, does it not?
When you remember, and it is something you will remember because it is something that you know, everything that you see in physical formation, everything that you call manifestation, everything that is actualized, all this knock-on-wood stuff that you can see and smell and hear and taste and touch, all this stuff was preceded by a vibrational reality.
Everything.
The Earth spinning in its orbit. It was vibrational reality first, and because thinkers thought upon it longer, when enough thinkers thought upon it, it began to take form enough that other thinkers could then experience the participation of it in manifested form.
Everything is that way.
You are magnificent beings and you are incredible in your earthly achievements, but we want you know, as bright and as brilliant and willing and wanting as you are, you have not scraped enough dirt together and launched it into orbit. You are not launching planets into orbit. There is something bigger going on here than you can explain through the physical beingness and action of your time/space reality.
-Abraham, Workshop in Atlanta, GA on 10/25/08
What is this bigger thing going on? It is the experience of physical manifestation that occurs by virtue of what thoughts and intentions the thinker holds in mind. It is a non-physical process that leads to the creation of physicality.
So just to play with this idea a bit and explore alternative theories regarding the creation of Earth and the creation of Humans, how’s this for an idea?
And I’m in no way saying that the following is “the Truth.” It’s just a fun idea to toy around with.

Let’s talk about the imagination and take a look at how it’s actually far more real than we give it credit for.
Your true nature is Consciousness itself.
Existence or Consciousness is the only reality. Consciousness plus waking we call waking. Consciousness plus sleep we call sleep. Consciousness plus dream, we call dream. Consciousness is the screen on which all the pictures come and go. The screen is real, the pictures are mere shadows on it.
-Ramana Maharshi
You are the screen upon which various realities are projected. The thing is, and this is something that people don’t fully realize, all projections are JUST AS REAL in the experiential sense! Paradoxically, they’re all equally FALSE, depending on how you want to look at it for there is a deeper reality that is infinitely more real than “real life.”
Most of us tend to think that when we’re awake in “real life,” that’s “real.” On the other hand, when we’re visualizing in a non-physical plane or dreaming at night in our imaginations, that is somehow “less real” since our physical bodies were not in the experience.
What’s real is actually the Consciousness upon which all illusion is projected.
Consciousness experiences, but is not affected by all forms of illusion that is displayed upon it.
Coming back to a little more down-to-earth way of talking about it, let’s now look at the imagination.

There is no physical reality outside of you.
The outer world is TOTALLY an illusion. It’s not real. What’s real is the EXPERIENCE you’re having and the experience you have in physical reality is directly related to your thoughts, beliefs, and frequency of vibration.
There is no physical reality outside of you.
There is no physical reality outside of you.
THERE IS NO PHYSICAL REALITY OUTSIDE OF YOU.
Let this sink in. There is no physical reality outside of you!
At all!!
What you are seeing outside of you is a projection of your vibrational state, a reflection of your deepest thoughts and beliefs.
What happens out in the world DOES NOT MATTER. That is, it does not determine who you are, nor does it control your state of being. In fact, the reverse is true. It is your vibrational state, determined by your thoughts and beliefs, which determines how you experience physical reality. It is your state of being that determines what matters, what materializes for you in physical reality.

So I went to an Abraham-Hicks workshop this weekend and had the wonderful opportunity of listening to Abraham speak about the Law of Attraction. It clicks on an entirely new level when you hear it straight from the Source (pun intended). With that, let’s break down exactly how the Law of Attraction works right from the basics.
The Nature of Physical Reality
This physical reality is designed as a place for you to experience more and more of yourself, to remember who you really are.
Before we’re born, we are purely one with Source (aka God) and know everything, yet when we are born, we forget who we are and on some level, separate ourselves into several parts in order to experience the joy of realizing who we truly are once again.
When we feel bad, it is because we are separating ourselves from ourselves, pinching off our physical selves from our non-physical selves, resiting things such as Love of Freedom, both of which are qualities of our true selves. When we are feeling good, it is because the parts of us are all in vibrational alignment together.
Everything in the universe is vibration. Everything everything everything including your body, desires, thoughts, experiences, and so on.
Desires
While here in this physical experience, you are constantly creating new desires, called rockets of desire, for they shoot out of your mind and into another non-physical vibrational reality where the desires have already been fulfilled. What you ask for has already been given, just in another new reality. The key is to get from “here” to “there.”
With every experience we are having on earth, we are experiencing a contrast between experiences that make us feel good and experiences that make us feel bad. So we are constantly saying to ourselves, “Ooh, that feels good. I’d like more of that.” or “Yuck, this isn’t so fun. I don’t want to experience this anymore. hmm, I’d rather experience that instead.”
All of these desires pool together in a non-physical reality where you already exist, a reality some have called the Unmanifest. Everything you have ever asked for, be it money, success, relationships, cars, and whatever else, all exist in a temporary non-physical holding place Abraham calls the vibrational escrow.
So your job isn’t to make all your dreams happen and figure out HOW all your desires are going to manifest. No no.
The main thing for you to do is to bring your manifest physical self, the “you” you traditionally think of as yourself, into alignment with this vortex of non-physical vibrational escrow and from this place, all that you desire will manifest to you through you within this energetic vortex. Your job is simply to bring yourself into vibrational alignment with this space and to allow the manifestations to occur in your reality, to let it all in. Read More …
Question:
Dear Ariel,
I had a realization while reading Ask and it is Given and the first book in Conversations with God for the first time – I had been focusing on lack! I had been focusing on what I didn’t have, and trying to ‘solve’ it through spirituality, etc. No wonder I wasn’t getting the job I wanted or the success with women I wanted! Duh!
So, I’ve started reframing myself, and *knowing* it’ll happen. And you know what? I got a call from a friend, saying the place he works at is hiring. A girl opened *me* tonight (she looks like a fun one too). I can see thing manifesting, and I know that God will give me everything I desire in time.
My question is – what can I do to remove resistance and make things manifest even *quicker*? Understand, since I was a fundamentalist Christian I had all the exact WRONG frames at one point – “You are a sinner”, “Sex is sinful”, “You shouldn’t want money for what you do” etc. I’m still finding these things. It’s like rolling around in the sand at the beach. I’ve got em’ hidden in places I didn’t even know I had.
Is it good to completely ignore that this part of my life ever happened? Just forget it and watch it un-manifest? Should I go through frame by frame reframing myself? How can I *know* what I don’t see (the age old question of faith)?
The other problem is that these things will start to manifest, and in the past, I’d worry about losing them or screwing them up – so of course they’d magically die in transit. (Wonder why? *laughs*) What can I do to trust the full process?
B.

You’ve brought up some excellent questions regarding the manifestation and what is commonly called The Law of Attraction. Let’s break down exactly what you did, what worked, what didn’t, and what can be done to make your manifestations more effective, to take you to the next level.
First and foremost, by changing your focus from what you are lacking to what you are now choosing, you brought yourself into vibrational alignment with what you do want. Thus, you began attracting the new job and the new girl and because the universe is set up in such a way that it acts like a mirror for your own internal state, your external world produced a reflection of your internal thoughts. It always does.
Perfect. Manifestation includes 3 stages and you’ve successfully completed the first two. The third and final stage needs some adjustment given that you want to completely manifest these new things.
What are the 3 stages in manifestation? As taught in the popular movie The Secret, they are as follows: Read More …
In the Law of Attraction, they talk about how you need to choose what you want without actually needing it to happen. Set an intention, but have no expectations.
It sounds a bit paradoxical, so let’s explain.
Intention is a clear FOCUS on the desire, feeling it, living it, breathing it, tasting it, experiencing it in the moment, Now.
Intention is about CLARITY, not the desire to control, manipulate, force, push, or pull. It’s about the vision, plain and simple.
When you need something to happen, it may seem as though you’re focusing on what you want, but if you look closely at how you’re feeling, you’ll notice there’s an underlying feeling of lack that the need is trying to fulfill. THAT is what the Universe will respond to: the core feeling.
What’s necessary is to develop the Trust that the Universe knows HOW to best structure a harmonious and joyous life.
Here is a powerful intention:
I am the manifestation of the best for all concerned.
The secret to manifestation is not so much that you need a particular thing to happen, but that you are willing to allow whatever needs to happen to happen without having to think about it or order it, knowing that you have already determined that whatever ultimately happens will be the best for all concerned.
This state of allowing operates at a higher level than trying to micromanage your entire life.
There is a complete and total allowance for the universe to manifest as it sees fit, without trying to control or resist the experience in any way.
Whatever the universe reflects back to you will be represetative of your highest vibration of joy because that’s who you are.
Lately there’s been intuitive inner guidance to study higher dimensions of reality, beyond the 3 dimensions we live in.
A number of my wonderful friends have provided me with videos and information regarding higher dimensions. I’ve been jumping into that head first and allowing “myself” to be guided to wherever this takes me. For some reason, the idea of higher dimensions is extraordinarily exciting to me.
Now, I’ve never been particularly excited about geometry, but studying these shapes have been monumentally exciting so I’m going with it. I trust the excitement like a compass needle showing me where to go.
We all live in all dimensions, but we’ve forgotten about this and forgotten how to access higher dimensions. It’s nothing special. It’s just remembering. Same thing as remembering who we really are.
Here’s a quick lesson, much of which was sparked by my recent explorations and then interwoven with my own understandings. It may start off seeming relatively innocuous, but the spiritual ramifications it leads to are profound! So with no further ado… Read More …
