Rampage of Appreciation for Money

Whatever you’re thinking about is literally like planning a future event. When you’re worrying, you are planning. When you’re appreciating you are planning… What are you planning?

It is no coincidence that in our language, appreciation also has to do with an increasing quantity of money!

Would you like to experience financial abundance? Are you ready to appreciate money even more, in more ways than one?

Here is a rampage of appreciation about money by Abraham-Hicks. Feel free to save this, print it off, and repeat it regularly with passion and enthusiasm to continue to raise your vibration around money.

I’m doing very well in my life. I’m happy to be in this body. I’m glad I came. I like life on planet earth at this time. I’m appreciative of the environment in which I live. I like the abundance that surrounds me. I like the platform of wellbeing from which I get to choose. I’m sorting all of this out. I’m realizing that there’s not a rightness or a wrongness in having money or not having money, it’s just a preference that people are aligning with or not. And I like coming into vibrational alignment with my preferences about money.

What is it about having money that I like? I like the freedom that it allows me. I like the context of choices that it provides. I like the arenas that it opens to me. I like the feeling of expansiveness that it gives me. I like having all of those choices. And I adore the idea of having the flexibility to be and do and have more of those things.

I love this planet. I love the idea of exploring it. I love tasting the finest aspects of it and I love getting to choose what those are. I love this benevolent universe. I can feel that my source is calling me toward this abundance. And I can feel when I go, and I can feel when I don’t. And all of that’s alright. It’s not wrong to have dollars or right to have dollars. It just feels one way to align with my own desires, and it feels another way not to align with my own desires. It’s only about that.

I’m not making a statement to the world about what they should do about dollars. I’m not condemning people who have them, or criticizing people that don’t have them. This is only about ME and my gap relative to this subject. And I can feel that my life has caused me to put some things in vibrational escrow that I’ve been holding myself apart from. But now I know what I’m doing. And things are coming in. And I’m getting the hang of this and I’m doing rather well at it. And I can feel the influx of energy. I can feel that my stream is calling and I can feel that I’m more willingly going with it. And I can feel that on many subjects I’ve let go of the oars. I can feel that I’m coming into alignment. I have seen the evidence of my improved vibration in many different aspects of my life. I have seen the improved vibration of my being in the aspect of money in my life. I know I’m understanding this. And I think I’m making too much of all of this. I’m happy that I understand it. I’m going to look for more reasons to feel good. And I’m going to enjoy watching the abundance flow to me.

I’m hoping to see more evidence of the abundance flowing, and I’m believing that I will. In fact I have already seen some of it. This is going to be fun. Nothing’s gone wrong here. Everything’s right on track. I’m doing just fine. I’m happy where I am. I’m pleased with what I know. I’m happy to apply what I know. I can’t get it wrong. I never get it done. Isn’t life fun?! Don’t you love money?! Don’t you love money flowing?! Isn’t this a wonderful world?!”

[Audience bursts into joyful, enthusiastic applause!]

Abraham-Hicks, San Francisco, CA, 2-24-07

i used to think that law of attraction was contrary to the whole experience of enlightenment but as i study it more, i find that it has as much relevance after Realization as it does before Realization. i think the basic premise of “feeling good” is so aligned with the purity of Source Energy. it provides an easy common sense application for life AFTER enlightenment…where we can still be in the world fully and experience it fully, rather than turn away from it – which is what enlightenment can sometimes cause in a person…not knowing how to be in the world once they’ve seen the behind-the-scenes of it.

it almost seems to be the next step, don’t you think? closing the gap between our physical manifested selves and our Pure Source Energy…and integrating in the world.

Yeah, if you take away all of the self-gratification and ego pleasure stuff, we see that at its core, it’s simply a way to express the Absolute within the world of the Relative, is it not? It’s about experiencing wholeness on yet another level.

This isn’t really related to your post here but I thought you may have some input on this question:

If everything is the allness and everything is already perfect.. what is the point of spiritual ‘growth’?

Why do ‘spiritual teachers’ exist? What is to be taught, and why? Can perfection be increased?

    Ariel Bravy Reply:

Right, it’s not to become more perfect in any way, but to recognize the perfection in all that is and to truly be who you are and heal every false thought to the contrary.

yes, i agree. the core of Abraham’s message is of course, not about ego-gratification…although many people may mistake it as such. the thing about ego pleasures is that they never last and so they play their part in an individual’s growth. LoA works when we understand that Pure Desire is the desire of Source – that role, that purpose, that experience for which you manifested as yourself in the world. it’s about identifying the current of Life that is flowing in a particular direction for YOU. we are all One, but our way of experiencing the manifested form of this Oneness is infinite…after all, not every enlightened person becomes a spiritual teacher…and especially in this new age, i think there is no limit to what CAN be experienced. as you say, it is experiencing wholeness on a whole new level.

I must say this brought up resistance in me. I was watching a show last night on Boeing’s expensive business jets. I thought how cool it would be to own one and just go wherever I want… the freedom + comfort. Then I thought of how many starving children I could feed in Africa with $15 million… the cost of one of the planes. This is my split.

I want to enjoy the pleasures and freedom financial abundance can offer, but I feel guilty when I think about going overboard.

Then I thought about living here in California. A typical family here in Folsom has their own house, a few cars, and eats out a couple times a week. Just by driving a gas-guzzling SUV slower, we could feed some children in Africa/cure disease etc. We just take this stuff for granted and forget how blessed we are just by living in America… let alone Folsom California.

So… this split about feeling guilty for having so much more than others and enjoying pleasures that are not necessary vs. the desire for neat toys for fun.

Can you help me out here Ariel? Abraham doesn’t see anything wrong with blowing fun money. I see it as money that could be better used saving others, but I still want my jet. :D

There’s nothing wrong at all with enjoying abundance in any way. The guilt you mention seems to stem from a sense of lack and insufficiency, a feeling that there’s not enough to go around for everyone. There’s enough for all of us to have what we want in abundance. ALL of us.

Just had a long conversation with my dad about this. It came down to me trying to save the world – sympathy.

People choose their circumstances based on what lessons they chose to learn… that feels right to me.

Thanks for helping me to peel another layer of my onion. :dancing
