It seems like every time I move away from reading about spirituality Im more vulnerable to over thinking god and it happened just by remembering a time that i had over thought it in the past too.

Is over thinking god once in a while somewhat common at times?

Anthony, it is true that people all over the world throughout all time have been able to intuit some sort of higher power, though they give it different names.

Overthinking God is certainly common. It’s just the way the mind goes about doing its thing. Most people think the mind is the only way of finding out information and so that’s the main tool they use.
