Hey Ariel, I Disagree With You!

Terrific!

I am very grateful that you are you and that you are being your own guru. You, by being yourself, are offering All That Is another perspective of itself, the experience of diversity, and the gift of variety. Oneness is enhanced, interestingly enough, through the acceptance of and celebration of diversity.

You have your own unique qualities and natural talents. I fully encourage you to develop them and be totally you, not a clone of me.

You see, I have no interest in converting anyone or convincing anyone to agree with my understandings. It is simply my intention to be myself to the fullest extent possible and share with you what I have to give, but it is ALWAYS up to you what you choose what to do with it. I honor the free will that you have and recognize that your life is yours to live and yours alone. There’s a lot of power in honoring people and allowing them to be, without resistance.

My way is not a better way. It is simply another way.

All beliefs are equally valid, since each belief generates its own self-validating reality.

This is not to say that some beliefs are not more in alignment with ultimate reality, love, and light. Not at all.

See, in our relative reality, we can find evidence to back up any argument. Whatever beliefs we choose to hold in mind are the ones that will eventually create our experiences in this physical reality, thus confirming the original beliefs. (The world is your mirror.) By saying this, it may sound, at least on the surface, that I negate my own claim that spiritual truth is experiential, not a belief system, but it’s actually saying to put into practice anything and everything you hear and find out for yourself whether or not the words point to a reality that works for you. Trust the experiences, not the beliefs. Experience trumps theory.

If our experiences are showing us something different, cool. But recognize that your experiences are different because your core beliefs and perceptions are different.

You see, I don’t feel particularly threatened by others’ ideas so I have no need to judge or condemn anyone. Learning to let go is a wonderful thing… Instead, I endeavor to look beyond the outer ideas and seek to genuinely help people rise above illusions. All suffering is due to ignorance. The ignorance is not that people are stupid, but that their perspective is clouded over by the egoic mind and they just don’t know any better. We all do the best we can given our level of consciousness at the time. I aim to never judge or condemn other people, but I will challenge ideas and actions that are self-destructive and destructive toward other forms of life, ideas that are sponsored by the human ego.

I’m not so much interested in telling you what’s right as I am looking to question certain beliefs and offer pointers and suggestions regarding other places to look for Truth.

One BIG BIG hint: Absolute Truth is not found within the dualistic mind of the ego. It is ONLY found by reaching beyond the dualistic state of consciousness, to the inner knowingness of non-dualistic consciousness itself.

If you are experiencing any problems or issues in your life, the solution is always to raise your consciousness. A problem can not be solved with the same level of consciousness that created it.

If you disagree with me on something, you’re welcome to let me know. I suggest you do so with respect because the way you respond to the world actually says more about you than it does about anything outside of you. Perhaps you’re seeing something I’m overlooking. If so, I would love to learn from you and expand my own awareness of what is. We are all teachers for one another and I am appreciative of all opportunities for growth and expansion.

Humility is being interested in WHAT is right, not WHO is right.
