I’m feeling the inner inspiration to do less and be quiet. You’ve probably noticed how I’ve been posting on this blog less and less lately.

I’ve also started posting more on Twitter. You can follow me on @ArielBravy. It’s nice because not only are there so many people to interact with live, but it’s much easier to simply express an idea and let it go instantly without writing up a whole big massive post about it. And with just 140 characters, it keeps ideas simple, clear, fresh, and pure, without a lot of added explanation and fluff.

Much less attachment to what arises. It comes, it’s spoken, and it leaves. It’s as simple as that. Free like the wind and gone just as quickly. A passing breeze, and not even that.

I will continue writing here at this blog. No worries. I just feel a shift in energy, purpose, and direction. Where I’m going I do not know yet. We will see how life continues to unfold.

Thank you for engaging in the comments section so passionately. There’s now some amazing discussions happening on this site thanks to you guys. It is truly a joy for me to engage with all of you.

What I’m finding is that since I like to post so often (yeah, sometimes I talk a lot… ), your wonderful comments get shoved down into the abyss, never to be heard from again.

As a remedy to this issue, I’ve noticed some popular sites like Steve Pavlina replacing blog comments with a forum.

I’m considering doing the same thing here and I’d like to get your input before I do so. Here’s the benefits I see to each option:

Blog Comments:

• The comments are displayed immediately following the post, right on the same page.
• It’s easy to fire off a comment right on the spot.
• It doesn’t require that you register an account if you’re a first-time poster.

Forum Discussions:

• Discussions will stick around and we can continue our discussions long after I’ve tossed another series of posts up on the main page.
• Allows you guys to new start topics rather than relying on just the topics I address on the blog.
• Much easier access to quoting others and better formatting than on the blog.
• Much easier to start a new discussion after a conversation brings up new ideas in the blog comments so that it doesn’t get all mashed up together.
• You guys are very wise and creative and I enjoy giving you the floor, allowing the opportunity for you to shine if you so desire.
• It’ll stimulate more forum discussion.
• When you go to the forums, you’ll likely find other topics right on the spot that you’d want to engage with.
• Point new readers to a whole treasure trove of awesomeness which they may have otherwise overlooked.
• I’m not sure how many forums there are dedicated solely to enlightenment and so I’d like to have one up and running.

Cafe Gratitude, a small chain of restaurants in California, features the coolest menu ever.

Each thing on the menu has an awesome name. I hear that when you go to order what you want and you tell the waiter or waitress that you want a bowl of “I AM THRIVING,” they will respond back to you saying, “Yes, you are thriving!”

If you enjoy raw food, they even have a cookbook published entitled I Am Grateful, chocked full of recipes you can try out and enjoy for yourself.

I’d like to share a few ideas with you, neutral ideas which can be used for good or evil. They can be used humorously, for spiritual growth, or to just piss people off. What you do is up to you.

Okay, so there’s a bunch of fun ways to respond to criticism and blow off arguments using spiritual principles. Sure they’re just ways to dance around taking responsibility, among other things, but still.

Here’s a list of 20 different ways to sidestep attacks from a spiritual perspective:

1) The World is an Illusion

My elbows don’t exist. Neither does the table! It’s all an illusion.

2) All Realities Exist Now

That’s just one reality. Another reality where my elbows are off the table is ultimately just as real as this one.

Who is asking the question?

4) Go Meditate

You’re being a jerk.

Meditate. You’ll see it doesn’t matter for your true nature as awareness has no preference.

5) The World is your Mirror

Quit being such a jerk!

Does it bother you? What part of yourself is being reflected back to you?

6) Non-judgment

That’s just a judgment. It’s only your ego’s perspective. Quit judging me.

7) Projection

You are a total jerk!

I am neutral. You are projecting your own beliefs onto me and thus think that I’m a jerk.

8) Mistaken Identity
