There’s this sense of deep peace that arises, where it feels like nothing’s happening. Everything is still, completely and totally still.

This isn’t to say that the earth stops spinning, that time stops, and that life as we know it ceases to occur, but something deeper than that, somehow beyond it all.

It’s a sort of looking through the action and seeing the non-action, peering beyond the content of the moment and recognizing the emptiness of the moment itself.

Nothing is being created.

Nothing is happening.

Nothing is occuring.

This probably doesn’t make much sense to the mind, so let’s see if we can help it along here a bit.

Metaphysically Speaking

From a metaphysical perspective, we can say that all time is now and everything exists now, meaning that everything that could ever be created already has been created. It literally all exists already. Every single thing you can imagine has already been created. There’s nothing more to be done.

It’s not that more things are being created that weren’t there before, but simply that awareness is shifting its perspective to see another side of the totality.

Imagine a hologram for a moment. Every time you look at it from a different angle, it appears as if the hologram changes. Yet the hologram doesn’t change at all. YOU, the observer, change your perspective relative to the hologram, giving you a new view of it. The hologram doesn’t change at all, even though it looks like it does.

The world as we know it is very much like this. The world doesn’t change. YOU change. Awareness shifts perspective.

Since one’s true nature is simply awareness itself, when you change, the whole world you see changes as well.

When this sinks in, it becomes completely obvious why sayings such as “Be the change you wish to see in the world,” or “What you focus on expands,” or “When you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change,” and so on all fit into place. Things like the double-slit experiment become quite natural. It is awareness itself that is the key to creation. Awareness is really all there is, anyways,

We could say that there is an observer and something to be observed, subject and object, but eventually that duality, too, collapses into simply observation happening. Awareness being aware. But that’s a whole ‘nother topic.

Experientially Speaking

Moving from the metaphysical explanation to a more experiential description, it feels like an infinite peace, with no one to be peaceful. Just the presence of stillness and peace itself, with no other to disturb the peace. It’s not freedom despite all other things, but a seeing through all other things so that there is no longer anything to be free of, nor anyone to be free from something. Just freedom itself.

No one can be free. A “me” can’t be absolutely free, for there can always a be challenge to a “me.”

Nothing is happening, and yet everything is happening. All That Is is being All That Is. Everything is being.

It may sound paradoxical, but it’s really the only way to put the two together. Everything exists thanks to nothingness. The two are inseparable. Source and Manifestation are one.

The title of Adyashanti’s book Emptiness Dancing says it all.

The Moment Itself

When someone says to “be in the moment,” what do we usually do? We focus on the content of the moment. There’s whatever emotions are arising in the moment, the thoughts that arise now, the events that are occuring, breathing happening… that’s all the content of the moment.

What is it like to experience the moment itself? The context surrounding all content?

The obviousness that’s always here, but is so easily missed because the mind tends to go straight for the content instead.

The moment itself. What is that like? In your own experience? Don’t worry about trying to put it into words or be the narrator of your own experience for now.

Just for yourself, what does this moment feel like? Empty? Full? Busy? Still?

Funny that we just started talking about teleportation because scientists at the University of Maryland just teleported information between two separate atoms. It’s not teleportation of matter from “here” to “there” quite yet, but it’s yet another step in that direction!

I am now open to receiving information about this subject from a variety of sources, from any direction. This topic is definitely pushing the limits of my current understandings. Teleportation also brings together many of my deepest passions: spirituality, astronomy, light, and God.

In addition to the Bashar video posted the other day, here’s a few other things I’ve found so far since then:

3 Ways to Teleport

According to this channeled explanation, there are three ways to achieve teleportation. Here’s my understanding of what’s being said:

1. Phase shifting: The idea is that in higher dimensions, there are wormholes that connect distant locations. Imagine two points on a sheet of paper. In two dimensions, the shortest distance between the two points is a straight line. In three dimensions, you can fold the paper so that the two points are touching. Phase shifting is about changing your craft’s electromagnetic field such that it attunes to the vibration of the wormhole, sending the craft sling-shotting through it in a higher dimension.
2. Zero-point fields: The idea is that you neutralize all electromagnetic fields around the craft, creating a zone where there are no longer any forces acting upon you. You enter a state of Oneness because the dualistic positive and negative electromagnetic forces cancel each other out. When this happens, the craft enters an etheric realm, transcending the limitations of 3D time and space, and experiences the ability to rearrange energy and matter at will. Again you don’t really go anywhere, but rather you create the “destination location” around you in the etheric realm. You then repolarize the craft and reenter 3D or 4D reality in the “new location” you have materialized/created.
3. Thought transference: This is the most advanced form of teleportation and doesn’t require a craft to be performed. It sounds like a more advanced form of visualization. The idea is that every location in physical reality exhibits a unique energy signature. What you do is use your thoughts to attune yourself to the vibrational signature of your desired location and thus you instantaneously manifest that parallel reality into conscious awareness, similar to how you can change the channel on the TV and experience a new show instantly by simply tuning the TV to the appropriate frequency. All the possible channels on the TV exist here and now. You’re not actually going anywhere, but simply attuning yourself to the vibrational frequency that matches the reality you choose to experience.

Notes from Conversations with God

I picked up Conversations with God, Book 3 and started going back through the material presented there that was relevant to this discussion.

First, there’s a discussion regarding Highly Evolved Beings (HEBs) where Neale asks God how HEBs travel. God’s response is as follows, as quoted from page 309 of the book:

Travel as you know it in your culture does not exist in highly evolved societies. Technology has advanced far beyond the necessity of using fossil fuels to drive engines embedded in huge machines that move bodies around.

In addition to what has been provided by new physical technologies, understandings of the mind, and the very nature of physicality itself, have also advanced.

As a result of the combination of these two types of evolutionary advances, it has become possible for HEBs to disassemble and reassemble their bodies at will, allowing most beings in most highly evolved cultures to “be” wherever they choose–whenever they choose.

Sweet. Understanding the mind and the nature of physicality are two of the things we’ve been exploring to a great extent here on this blog. There’s so much more I’d like to say on this subject. In fact, last night I sat down and wrote 3 whole chapters on this subject. It just kept flowing and flowing. It’s so exciting! So deliciously effortless!

There’s also another passage in one of Neale’s books where he asks about miracles such people walking on water or jumping off a building and flying.

God responds that those miracles can only come from a place of Oneness. When you are performing an act to prove something to another, or seeing things within the context of a separate body jumping off a separate building, you are demonstrating separation and thus you will be subject to the “rules” of separation, including gravity and going splat.

From a place of Oneness, however, you see through the illusions of physical reality, realize they only exist because of belief systems, and allow yourself to see the Truth of what is and them act in alignment with who you really are, thus producing what appears to be a miracle.

Patanjali

Davidya left a comment on one of the earlier teleportation posts saying this:

Are you familiar with the Yoga Sutras of Patanjali? While the understanding of the technique was lost, he described over 2,000 years ago how to ‘teleport’, be in 2 places at once, fly, walk through fire or walls, knowledge of the planets, of the body, and so on. Some 54 such abilities listed.

Key is having a clear focused thought in unbounded awareness in silence. Essentially thinking from the source of thought, the quantum field.

It also requires the energy channels in various parts of the body to be clear, which is why some do these easily, some are born with it, and some get little result. As many observe, these can be barriers to higher advancement as they can enhance the sense of me.

From what I’ve seen after a little time spent googling, it seems to be a result of proper cultivation of the energy in the throat and head area. Does anyone know more about Patanjali? I’ve got some of his yoga sutra books on reserve now in the library and will be looking into this more.

Imagine you have two individual particles. You do something to somehow link the two together, or “entangle” them, so that a change in one automatically affects the other. Even when you separate the two objects, they somehow still remain correlated no matter what the distance.

This is the basis of quantum entanglement. The idea is that if you take two entangled particles and you “jiggle” this particle over here, you’ll automatically “jiggle” that particle over there simultaneously.

This is how quantum entanglement appears from the perspective of separation. How does this understanding move to the next level when we realize everything is One?

The All Are The One

Imagine an aquarium. Inside the aquarium you have a colorful fish swimming around.

Next, let’s say there are two cameras, one in the front of the aquarium and another off to the side, yet both are pointing inwards towards the fish. You, the observer, are off in another room looking at two monitors, watching what these two cameras are looking at, without knowing what the cameras are pointing at or how they are set up.

You notice, after watching the two screens for some time, that the two separate fish you are looking at seem to somehow be connected. When one fish turns, the other turns at the exact same time. Do they have ESP or something? Even though they are performing separate actions, they seem to somehow happen at the exact same time. Interestingly, the two fish never perform the same exact actions. When you’re looking at one fish’s nose, you’re looking at the other fish’s side. When one fish swims front to back, the other swims side to side. Clearly there’s some sort of relationship between the two different fish.

Now here’s the $64,000 question: Are you really looking at two separate fish or are you actually looking at the same one fish from multiple perspectives simultaneously?

What’s Going On?

With quantum entanglement, it looks as if we’re finding a way to “link” two separate objects through time and space so that the two can move together in different yet predictable ways. This is only the appearance though.

Is it possible that what we’re really doing is simply finding a way to bridge the gap between time and space so that we can perceive Oneness and separateness SIMULTANEOUSLY in a way that we can clearly recognize?

What we are doing by entangling particles is not literally creating a connection where there was not one before, for it’s all the same One thing anyways, but rather we’re simply creating a way for us to perceive the Oneness that’s already present.

What You Do Affects Everything Else

Taking this a step further, what if every object in existence is already entangled with every other object in existence,  meaning that every “separate object” is simply a different perspective of the same One thing. The reason that we aren’t yet seeing how a change in one affects everything else is because we haven’t detected the relationship between the different objects of awareness, or realized that different appearances doesn’t mean different fish. Despite appearances, every thing in existence is the same One object, the same exact fish. oooohhhh…

So when you take the time to Love yourself, given that everything is the same One thing from a different perspective, wouldn’t you simultaneously be Loving EVERYTHING ELSE IN EXISTENCE to the same degree!?

You guys ready for a mind trip!? We’re gonna start bustin’ out some advanced topics. Enlightenment, spirituality, oneness, it’s all about Love, Peace, Bliss, Well-being, and all that good stuff, right? Well, nooooot quite.

What we’re going to be talking about here tonight, some of this material will go beyond the scope of what we normally discuss here, but not only is what’s coming up one of the topics which excites me the MOST right now, it also takes into account a lot of the realizations that enlightenment shows us directly and allows us to perform what, to the mind, seems miraculous, but is nothing more than actions based on higher understanding that stems from seeing through the illusions of time, space, and linear continuity. Think Jesus and all those “miracles” he performed. Remember him saying something along the lines of “These things and more, you shall do also.” Well, you shall! Let’s start learning how!

It’s Not Just Sci-Fi

I grew up watching cartoons of characters traveling through space instantly. Duck Dodgers in the 24th and a half century! Teleportation was always supremely fascinating, like something out of science fiction. First you’re here and then you’re there, without being in every place in between!

If I could one one superpower, teleportation would be it. (Flying would be second, but I already do that in my dreams at night.)

One of the wonderful things about the spiritual journey is that enlightenment is NOT the final step. No sir ree. It’s not like life is over once you get enlightened and then that’s it for you and ya might as well croak.

For me, one of the things I like most about this process is that as I’m moving to a higher level of consciousness, I’m able to see through many of the illusions that has limited mankind for thousands of years. It’s like suddenly realizing the earth is ROUND and then realizing the ramifications of this profound discovery. I feel like becoming enlightened is just one stage of a larger process in my life. It’s helping me understand the universe from a higher perspective, from a level that boggles my mind.

Bye Bye Illusions

The illusions of time and space have been collapsing for me recently. They haven’t collapsed permanently yet, but it’s been kinda in and out. You know how they say that everything is Here and Now? That’s 100% true! Holy cow… There’s no such thing as “over there” or “past” or “future.” I know I know I know it *appears* like there is, but that’s not actually the case. I want to start writing about this, both how to get to this realization yourself as well as what the experience is like beyond the illusion, and I’m going to include all of this and more in my next book. So stay tuned!

Man used to think flying was impossible, until we learned more about the nature of our physical reality. What we’re talking about here is similar in that we’re seeing beyond what used to appear as a limitation, opening us up to what we would normally deem miraculous. Things like teleportation, bilocation, instantaneous communication across any distance, levitation, instantaneous manifestation, free energy, instant healings, traveling back and forth through time, and all sorts of other amazing topics. It’s even cooler that science is starting to explain a lot of things that spiritual mystics have been saying for thousands of years, stuff like everything is made up of one universal thing and everything is connected. It’s like science and spirituality are starting to merge! Woohoo!! We live in a time of great transformation!

Teleportation Is Already Possible!

Our scientists have already been able to teleport light in the lab, and I believe they’re already been able to teleport matter as well!!

For us, teleportation is still very much in its infancy, but it is ALREADY HAPPENING! We’re still a little ways off from Star Trek style teleportation, but we are moving in that direction.

For those of you interested in the topic, here’s an audio clip that explains how teleportation works on a metaphysical level, as explained by the channel named Bashar.

In short, it involves seeing things from a higher level of consciousness where you realize that location is an illusion and that every thing is here and now so nothing is really going anywhere. What you’re doing when you teleport is jumping from one simultaneously existing parallel reality to another, breaking the illusion of continuity in the process, like jumping from one frame in a movie filmstrip to another, without linearly watching every frame in between.

Now as for how to actually change the variable for location, I’m allowing the universe to bring that knowledge to me at the appropriate time. It’s all unfolding perfectly.

One of the coolest things about Quantum Physics is that it’s coming to explain scientifically many of the things that the world’s great mystics have been explaining for millenia.

The thing about science though is that it can get all nerdy, to a point where most people can’t really wrap their heads around all the math and theoretical mumbo jumbo. Simplicity is a wonderful thing.

Let’s talk about the imagination and take a look at how it’s actually far more real than we give it credit for.

Your true nature is Consciousness itself.

Existence or Consciousness is the only reality. Consciousness plus waking we call waking. Consciousness plus sleep we call sleep. Consciousness plus dream, we call dream. Consciousness is the screen on which all the pictures come and go. The screen is real, the pictures are mere shadows on it.

You are the screen upon which various realities are projected. The thing is, and this is something that people don’t fully realize, all projections are JUST AS REAL in the experiential sense! Paradoxically, they’re all equally FALSE, depending on how you want to look at it for there is a deeper reality that is infinitely more real than “real life.”

Most of us tend to think that when we’re awake in “real life,” that’s “real.” On the other hand, when we’re visualizing in a non-physical plane or dreaming at night in our imaginations, that is somehow “less real” since our physical bodies were not in the experience.

What’s real is actually the Consciousness upon which all illusion is projected.

Consciousness experiences, but is not affected by all forms of illusion that is displayed upon it.

Coming back to a little more down-to-earth way of talking about it, let’s now look at the imagination.

Is My Imagination Really All Just “In My Head?”

What you experience in your imagination you’re ACTUALLY EXPERIENCING. Consciousness is actually experiencing it.

Imagination is experienced as real to the same degree, but merely in a different way, than physical reality is experienced.

This is why fears can make your heart race. This is why when you have a wonderful visualization experience, you feel like you’ve already experienced that reality and then you notice that the desire to actually have it in physical reality may lessen or disappear altogether!

When you close your eyes and visualize yourself at the beach, you’re actually having that experience! You’re actually there! You see, awareness itself (the essence of you) is now aware of the beach. There is no difference, really.

What’s happening in your imagination is actually happening. The experience of it is EQUALLY as real.

We tend to think that if I’m just visualizing something, I’m not actually there because my body is still here. Well the body is not you so what difference does it make?

You are the silent witness, the observer, the awareness. So whatever is being observed is an equally real experience, regardless of if it’s in the imagination or in “real life.” It’s being witnessed just the same.

Is Physical Reality All Just “In My Head?”

Physical reality is just like our imagination. It’s just a dream.

We may think that there is an objective reality outside of us to which we are at the effect of, but really that is a total illusion. Physical reality is a projection of the mind, in exactly the same way dreams and visualizations are simply projections of the mind.

We tend to think there’s a big difference between the dream world in our minds and physical reality. THERE’S NOT!

Your dreams are really experienced and your physical reality is just a dream! They go hand in hand and are really one and the same.

The Differences Between Imagination and Physical Reality

In your imagination, you are in no way bound by time and space.

You can imagine a change and *poof!* It happens instantly. Manifestation is instantaneous. We can travel to “anywhere” in the Universe instantaneously. The limitations of time and space do not exist.

Physical reality is also a projection of the mind in which the same ability to manifest exists, but there is also the apparent existence of time and space, though neither of the two are actually real in any way whatsoever.

The “Laws” of Physical Reality aren’t really Laws

We simply agreed to the “laws” of time and space upon entering physical reality (at birth) as a sort of rule set we will generally follow while playing in this sandbox. The experience of time certainly happens, but time is not real in and of itself. It can be bent. It can be broken.

It’s actually a lot of fun as we begin experiencing the limitations of time becoming a little more… slippery. A 30 minute meditation may feel like 5 minutes. We may drive somewhere and get there wondering how in the world we had enough time to make it there in the first place, even though we didn’t speed or anything. We are beginning to toy with the illusory bounds of time that seem to limit us.

Speaking of instantaneous manifestation (like in our dreams) and transcending the limitations of physical reality, a way you can measure how in alignment you are with your true Self is by noticing how long it takes things to manifest in your reality. Instantaneous manifestation is a very real reality, and a lot of fun to experience!! The “time” it takes something to manifest is related to how much you are resisting which is one of the reasons we talk about surrender and letting go of resistance.

Regarding the limitations of space, people throughout time have reported siddhis such as bilocation, teleportation, and so on. In quantum physics, scientists are learning to how to reproduce these effects via quantum entanglement. For example, teleportation of light has already been achieved. You and I are truly nothing more than light. We are all enLIGHTened.

What we call “real life” is actually much closer to the “dream world” than many of us actually realize.

Both “real life” and “dreams” are simply imaginary mental projections on display on the screen of your Consciousness.

The Self witnesses and experiences all illusory movies equally.

Our true nature is not one of a sense of identity, an egoic “me,” but rather pure awareness itself.

Now, to just look at something and observe without interacting with it or without even thinking about it, that sounds pretty benign doesn’t it? It sounds very passive, as if the simple awareness of what is would have no effect upon what is.

Ah, it turns out that awareness of what is is much more powerful than we realize.

I recently read a post by my friend and fellow blogger Nicholas Powiull about the difficulty in knowing, feeling, and experiencing infinite potential. The video he shared with us from What the Bleep Do We Know? triggered an “aha moment” within me and I’m going to share it with you now.

We can see that our material world, in its true unmanifest/unobserved nature, exists as an infinite set of possibilities, right here, right now. From a statistical standpoint, some of the possibilities are more likely than others and this is reflected as showing up more densely on the projected screen. In “real life” we could say that it’s more likely that you’ll roll out of bed and brush your teeth than it is that you’ll roll out of bed and sing an opera. They’re both still valid possibilities nonetheless. Until there is awareness present to actually witness potentiality, no manifestation can occur.

We are all the observers of our world and it is literally the observation of the world that determines what manifests from potentiality into actuality. On a quantum level, if there was no one around to witness our world, the world as we know it wouldn’t exist except as a collection of possibilities.

If a tree falls in the forest and there is no one around to hear it, does it still make a sound?

Awareness of potential creates manifest reality.

What you focus on expands.

Where attention goes, energy flows.

You are literally creating your reality all around you simply by looking at it.

DO YOU REALIZE HOW POWERFUL YOU ARE!?

A causes B causes C.

Is that how things work in the world?

From the perspective of the ego in linear time, this is the way events seem to unfold. In truth, this is actually an illusion. The reality is that there is only one time: Now.

This domino effect is the basis of our legal systems, for now we can decide who is at fault based upon the fact that they “caused” such and such to happen.

The truth is, nothing can cause anything else to happen. The cause of anything is the totality of the universe expressing itself throughout time.

Is the metaphorical straw that broke the camel’s back literally what broke its back? Or was it simply one of many influences that, in conjunction, created the likely possibility for the camel’s back to be broken?

Mankind can certainly influence something to happen and spur on its creation, but it can not be the root cause that guarantees anything will happen.

For example:

Causality is like planting a seed and then yelling at the seed, threatening to twist its little chlorophyll-filled arm, uproot it, and kick it across the yard if it doesn’t grow soon enough. You’re basically trying to force your will upon something and cause it to evolve in the direction you desire. This is a display of force.

On the other hand, there is a process directly counter to the process of causality. This process is called Creation. Creation says to plant the seed and nurture it. Give it life-supporting ingredients which provide the necessary conditions for the seed to grow into a plant BY ITSELF. Instead of trying to force the seed to do something, you empower it to grow on its own, at its own pace, in its own perfect time. This is a display of power.

Now, what exactly is the difference? On one hand, you associate your desire (the seed growing) with life-destructive energies, ie. threat, violence, anger, impatience. On the other hand, you associate your desire with life-giving energies such as nurturing love, patience, support, trust. There is a recognition that the seed was created right from the start with all the knowledge necessary for it to grow into a big, strong plant. Your role is not to literally cause it to grow, but to simply do your part in creating the appropriate conditions for Creation to unfold on its own from potentiality to actuality.

So really, the Law of Attraction is not about forcing the universe to give you what you want by following some recipe given by whomever. It’s simply a way to associate your desires with energies that are in alignment with your higher being. You create the conditions necessary for the desire to make itself manifest. You’re not the one CAUSING it to manifest.

The future is nothing but a set of potentials. Every possible future already exists, Now. You don’t cause one future or the other to happen, though the ego would like to believe it can. The ego loves to play God. Rather, you Create your choice of future by associating what you want with an energy level conducive to its unfoldment and manifestation.

Science is also beginning to showing this reality to be the case. We are discovering, through the study of quantum physics, that there are many different possible realities and that which reality is chosen is not so much a guarantee as long as A, B, and C happen, but merely a certain probability or likelihood that a certain outcome will unfold.

So we see that our role in the universe is not to be the root cause of anything or to literally control anything. We are creators and co-creators. It is up to us to select among the wide array of infinite future potentials and allow the universe to make it happen while we sit back from a place of nonattachment and enjoy the process of creation to unfold before our eyes.
