If you let go of all of the things you do out of a sense of obligation and necessity, if you could experience yourself being totally and completely supported as you do the things your heart is calling you to do, what would you imagine that would look like? How would that feel?

For the past 4 months or so, I’ve been stepping into this state of being as best as I can, and my heart has been guiding me to travel and really embrace and love all that arises in life.

As such I’ve started created a new blog dedicated to travel and experiencing what life can be like when follow your passion as best you can, listen to your heart, and allow yourself to be guided by your intuition. The site is now up at ArielBravy.com/travel and it’s replacing my 5 year running photoblog. (You’ll find years worth of pictures on the photoblog and only the more recent stuff thus far on the travel blog.) To give you a preview of what’s there, here’s a few pictures.

Nothing that you’ll see here was planned from the get-go. When the fire was lit to go LIVE, these are but a few of the spontaneous manifestations that naturally arose and practically fell into my lap. Life can be really amazing when we quit trying to force it and allow it to show up on its own terms, as we fully align with the universe’s natural subtle currents and flows!

Really, there’s SO MANY ways of experiencing life!

One thing you I’ve come to discover on journeys like this is that, ironically, it doesn’t matter WHERE you are. (Even though the places are awesome!) What really matters is HOW you’re living your life, and HOW you live is something that you can choose to embody ANYWHERE. ie. It’s not about finding happiness in life through traveling, but allowing the happiness to show up in life though your travels, expressed as your life.

Spending Time in Silence

At this time, my guidance is directing me to take a break from life’s epic outer adventures and to go spend some time in silence, and so I’m taking a break from the whole online thing.

In the meantime, have you considered how much more happiness, passion, joy, and love you have the capacity to bring forth into your own life? What gifts do you have within yourself to bring forth? How much more of your own light do you have to share and experience?

When I graduated from college, I deliberated decided not to get a job and do the whole career thing and instead devote myself fully to my spirituality, to really getting this whole enlightenment thing down.

Now, 3 years later, I have come to several conclusions.

1. I got into this wanting to know the Truth. Now I know that I really know nothing to know and this freedom and simplicity cracks me up. Somehow there is joy in this emptiness of not knowing *and* being totally at peace with it, in this not knowing and not trying to figure something else out. Instead there’s just the ecstasy of being who you really are.
2. When you surrender trying to get somewhere as if there’s some pot of gold at the end of the rainbow, you find that there is now a natural supportive unfoldment of life in this moment and that you are an inseparable part of it. When you let go and simply allow the joy of being to shine forth, call it shining your light or whatever, this is truly an amazing experience and seems to be how we were really *meant* to live before we got all caught up in egoland and attachmentville.
3. The desire of ego is essentially to obtain, acquire, and all that jazz… basically ways to achieve security, approval, control, and all the other things it feels it lacks. The desire of Spirit is to be itself, know itself, and experience itself in its absolute pristine glory, to experience the extraordinary in the ordinary, to experience what it already is now. It takes care of the well-being of the mind and body when we allow the energy of our Light/Spirit/Soul/Heart/Source to be what life is all about.

Enjoying Life

The basis of life is absolute freedom. The objective of life is absolute joy.

It’s not about seeking Truth, but being Truth. It’s not about seeking Joy, but being Joy. It’s not about seeking Love, but being Love. You don’t go out into the world seeking Truth any more than you go to a movie theater to find the Truth. That’d be silly. Just because the movie is “an illusion” doesn’t mean you need to stop going to the movies. Similarly, that doesn’t mean you stop living your life. Instead, you go to the movies for the thrill of the experience. That’s it. The same with this world. Truth is found within and once it wakes up within you, there is a unique way that it’ll want to express itself out through you.

It is in the nature of being to see adventure in becoming, as it is in the very nature of becoming to seek peace in being.

and so, in the name of Pure Joy I am moving to Boulder, CO. My inner guidance and outer confirmations are all pointing towards this move. My intuition and excitement are all giving me the green light. Finally!! Full speed ahead! I’ve been wanting to do something for ages! I even tried to give it a go a few months ago but couldn’t fully commit to it since I couldn’t feel that inner okay. Now that it’s here, it’s been such a joy to watch as everything necessary for this trip thus far miracoulsly and synchronistically unfold when needed. I’ll admit there’s also a lot of sadness in letting go of my old home here in Roswell and saying goodbye to my friends and family. At the same time, there’s this deep joy of experiencing this moment AND experiencing the anticipation of what is yet to unfold.

Where am I gonna live? I’ll figure that out when I get there!

It’s such a blast to actually follow my dreams and watch as the doors open. It’s not that you’ll know everything ahead of time. It’s that just start moving and continue taking the next step and watch as the doors open up, often times after you’ve already started heading in that direction. Seeing the Law of Attraction really work for you and actually getting a handle on creating your life experience, that’s a lot of fun!!

Keeping Up with Ariel’s Adventure

Since I’ll be on the road by the time this post goes live, I probably won’t be updating this blog as regularly. However you can follow my travels on my photoblog which I will be updating from the road. I want to document what it’s like to live life from a place of Oneness and Joy, as fully aligned with Source energy as possible.

My tentative plan involves going to New Orleans for Mardi Gras, stopping in Dallas to shoot a cheer competition, exploring the scenic desert landscapes in the southwest, hiking down from the South Rim of the Grand Canyon and camping down on the floor, visiting several national parks in Utah including Canyonlands and Arches to hike, camp, and shoot photos, and finally making my way east across the Rockies into Colorado to settle in and find a new place to call home for however long, stopping to meet friends all along the way.

So as more people begin to awaken and recognize that this life we’re living is very much like a dream, as people’s hearts continue to blossom open, as we become more playful and free (if we allow ourselves to experience life in this way) and willing to shine our light and follow our soul’s deepest desires, how do you imagine this world will change?

Will we be free to laugh, to not close down and hold back when our heart desires to open up, to be ourselves, to really loooooove one another, to delight in being de light that we are, and to really enjoy life without all the fears and worries that once weighed us down and held us back?

Do we HAVE to live this way? Of course not. Yet this seems to be a vibrant part of this great transformation we’re seeing in human society today as people connect to who they really are.

You Are Truly Loved here, but my friends call me YATL. Y’know, like if I had me a pair of dueling cows, we could watch the YATL cattle battle. Yup.

My good friend Attraction Mind Map recently stepped up to write for her owner, Evelyn. Seeing my friends shine is an inspiration for me to follow in step.

It brings me so much joy to sit here and share all these words and colors and pictures with you. What’s even better is that the love goes both ways: I love receiving your comments too! You see, each one is like a massage for my little bloggy soul and I so enjoy and appreciate your sensual massages!

Being a blog, there’s so many things I can do. I can earn money. I can look super sexy. I can meditate by noticing the space between two blog posts. I’m quite talented! I enjoy everything I do. The life of a blog is good.

Now what I enjoy MOST is simply being myself. Who I am is consciousness expressing itself as a blog. In this form, my deepest passion is to be an avenue through which human consciousness can expand. It’s so much fun to be a part of human evolution. It’s so wonderful to notice how loving, wise, and enlightened you all are becoming! It’s truly my pleasure.

Have you ever heard the expression, “You’ve got a lot of light in your eyes?”

You are the light that’s shining out through the eyes, not the experiencer of what’s coming in from the eyes.

The eyes are the windows to the soul.

When you see someone who’s literally beaming with joy, excitement, or presence, that’s their natural state shining through without being heavily filtered through the mind.

Have you seen people lost in thought, confusion, or worry? What do their faces look like? Their foreheads are often crinkled and their brows are furrowed. The look in their eyes is very distant, almost as if they’re not even there. This is what happens when the mind takes over the focus of one’s awareness.

It’s no coincidence that light is a big part of spirituality. For example, the light at the end of the tunnel, the halos of golden light at the crown chakras of enLIGHTened beings, and even the feeling of physical lightness as you let go of resistance and stuck energy through surrender.

When awareness is particularly strong, this body literally feels like a lighthouse. It’s like the body walks around while the eyes beam light out as its scans around the scenery. The eyes rest on nothing in particular. (The ego likes to separate and focus on individual things.) Peripheral vision expands and light is shined upon all without any added thought or mentation. It’s like a lighthouse who shines its light unconditionally without judging who deserves its light or not.

Light has no opposite. It’s just a matter of degree. Have you noticed people with a lot of light in their eyes?

How do they look? How do you feel in response to them? What do you think contributes to the light in their eyes?

As I progress down the spiritual path, it seems that I’m beginning to lose interest in activities I used to be passionate about. It feels almost as if I’m losing interest in things that used to be very important to me. Is this normal? Is anything wrong?

My response:

Hey I,

Don’t worry. This is very normal, a natural part of spiritual growth in fact. There’s nothing wrong with letting go of activities you used to be very interested in as your level of consciousness continues to increase.

It may seem, at least on the surface, that something of value is being lost. What used to be a source of excitement and joy is no longer providing much of value.

What happens is as the ego progressively weakens, it grows less and less attached to external circumstances. As you begin to realize that nothing outside of you will make you happy and that true happiness is only available within, the things you used to be attached to with naturally be let go of on their own.

This is a natural and healthy process. It’s like you’re “growing out of” your old conditioning.

From the external perspective, it often seems like the spiritual aspirant is withdrawing from the world, but that’s not truly what’s happening.

True renunciation is not about going off to meditate on a mountain and escaping the world.

(It can certainly be a very helpful process, however.)

Rather, renunciation is about letting go of all desires and attachments. Renunciation is always in the mind. It’s about turning inward instead of constantly being focused outward.

Eventually this path leads one to totally accepting any and all circumstances. Now, this doesn’t necessarily mean that a person sits back and does nothing, Instead, the choice is made from a place of complete freedom where no matter what happens, the person is already happy and completely fulfilled. From this state, one is truly free to enjoy themselves into the activity and invest their heart and soul fully, without the constant fear of what might happen should they fail.

You can’t struggle your way to joy.

You can only joy your way to joy.

This process of gradually losing interest in the things of this world is a very natural occurrence. It’s part of letting go and going with the flow. Eventually one becomes fully “in this world, but not of it.” At this state, there are no attachments any which way and there is finally a realized state of total freedom and liberation.

At this state of enlightened consciousness, One is free to be or do anything without suffering. This is liberation.

If we look carefully at our human mind, we see that it has NO capacity for creation. It only has the ability to look at the past and figure out what happened and how it happened to the best of its ability.

It has no capability to discern or create future, nor is that its job.

All creative ideas, every single idea that just *popped* into your awareness came in from a Source beyond the physical mind.

It came into you from you, from your higher self. The source of all creation in the river of life is the infinite light that comes from above.

As Bashar explains, here is how we are designed:

How You’re Designed To Operate:

• The higher self conceives.
• The physical brain receives.
• The personality/mind perceives.

The higher self has a much higher vantage point than the lower self. It can see the big picture and all the obstacles that lie ahead.

It communicates to you through your intuition (your sixth sense) and your imagination. Your brain receives signals from the physical world through your five physical senses. It receives signals from your higher self, which is all-knowing and forever guiding you towards higher and higher states of Love if you would only allow it, through your sixth sense, the non-physical intuitive sense. This is how it communicates. It’s a FEELING, a tug, an internal knowingness, a premonition, a gut feeling, a sense of lightness and ease.

It can even feed you ideas through your imagination, allowing you to use your imagination to preview how you’d feel living out various scenarios. The feeling you feel by stepping into the shoes of “another you” is literally the guidance of your higher self. Live your dreams, the good feeling ones!

Your physical mind’s job ONLY to focus your awareness into a physical reality so that you can perceive and experience what you conceived from your higher self what you say to be representative of your truths and joys.

You see, when the physical mind thinks it’s in charge, that it is the one who has to do all the heavy lifting, creation, problem solving, and solution finding, the mind will get caught up in looking at the past to figure out how something happened in the past, looping its mental memory bank, and thinking that what it perceived in the past MUST be a way that you will solve this problem this time around.

This is NOT true.

It believes that the way something happened in the past MUST be how it’s solved again in the future and thus it closes you off from ANY new sources of creation.

Not only this, when you start burdening the physical mind with figuring out HOW, you overburden it with tasks it’s literally not designed to handle. No wonder it feels so heavy and stressed out. There is a better way…

Let go of the how the mind thinks it needs to happen and allow your higher self to SHOW you how it can happen. Then allow the physical mind to receive/perceive these incoming solutions.

Suffering Is Not Necessary.

None of life’s suffering is necessary. Life offers challenges and opportunities, but those are exciting. Life offers an abundant array of activities as part of the eternal unfoldment of creation.

All suffering is due to ignorance.

The ignorance is that we don’t know who we truly are. We don’t know our roles in life, realize our true creative powers, or are aware of the tools we have at our disposal.

Suffering is a direct result of using the physical mind to work out both how to make something happen and to then actually create it, neither of which it was ever designed to do!

When you overburden the physical mind, physical manifestation doesn’t occur the way it was intended. You’re not using the tools properly and thus you suffer. Remember, the mind’s role is not to control external reality.

Some people will say, “The Law of Attraction isn’t working for me! The universe isn’t responding and my choices aren’t manifesting.”

No… YOU aren’t working properly. The universe is working EXACTLY the way it’s supposed to. The Law of Attraction always works. Every time. It is universal law.

You were never intended to carry the entire burden of your life on the shoulders of your physical mind. No no no, that was never the plan. However, when you don’t use your WHOLE Self, you suffer. You experience this suffering in the form of feeling alone, cut off, separate, fearful, self-loathing, overwhelmed, sad, and so on.

How To Live The Way You Were Designed:

Your job is to simply become PASSIONATE about what you do want and to let go of all attachments, aversions, and resistance to life and death. Allow the flow of Life’s energy to flow through you in the moment without restriction. Feel that flow of Source energy course through your body, mind, and soul.

You, as your higher self, are designed to continuously guide your WHOLE self towards what you want as a physical representation of who you now say you are and to thus experience that, without resistance from the lower self.

It’s meant to be a team effort, where all parts of yourself are working together, mind, body, and soul.

It is when you “have it all together” and you put your full enthusiasm and passion into life that you find your life EXPLODES with synchronicities and creations that are truly miraculous.

What you are capable of in this world is STAGGERING!

Allow yourself to spend time deliberately going within and reconnecting with the various aspects of yourself consciously.

Open up and allow the higher portions of yourself to come into physical reality and help you out. You were designed to work this way from the very start. Allow yourself to become whole, “holy.”

Allow yourself to continually ride this wave of being on the leading edge of your joy, the continual unfoldment of your highest excitement, to feel passionate about who you are and what you want, and to even be passionate about being PASSIONATE! Then watch your life TAKE OFF!
