Even realization itself is not a goal. It's simply abiding in the natural state. Now the experience of bliss, ecstasy, and love do arise spontaneously as one gets closer simply because one gets closer to the true nature of their being. It's like how a magnet feels stronger when you get closer to it. There are many spiritual experiences which open up such as the opening of the third eye, clairvoyance, instant manifestation, spontaneous healing, energetic work, the rising of kundalini energy up the spine, and so on, but these are all gifts given when appropriate. They are simply phenomena and nothing to seek or become attached to. "Seek first the kingdom of God and all else will be added unto you." points to exactly this, the feelings of bliss included. Do some folks who are new to awakening think that this a mark they have to 'achieve', or 'grasp' to be self realized? If this type of experiential bliss is not there, somewhat there, fully there, is it to be interpreted as a step or stage of a process? If so, would not that false concept of a process being done by a doer negate? Would like to hear your wisdom and insight Ariel- thank you! Bliss states can be induced in this body I have with just a few seconds of surrender. However, getting to this state took maybe a few weeks or few months of constant surrender to God. Just LOVE, COMPASSION AND BROTHERHOOD everywhere.Sir, I am so Lucky that this ego of self is surrendered and nothing is remained but DIVINE.
