Question:

Hey Ariel,

How does this economic collapse we’re going through fit into the idea of Everything Being The One?

With people around the world shedding their body/minds (also known as “dying”), and millions more about to do the same due to poverty, lack of food, economic collapse, etc, what’s really going on here?

You know how when you get a cold, the body starts filling with mucus? Why? It’s basically purging all the crud out of the system.

What’s happening now on our planet is that we’re starting to purge the old way of being.

All of the stuff that we’ve been doing unconsciously that doesn’t work is now coming to the forefront. Our old system based on lack, greed, separation, and fighting over what there is not enough of, it’s becoming very clear that this system DOES NOT WORK.

It’s like we’re becoming conscious of habits that we didn’t know we had. The economic shakeout is showing us that our old habits simply don’t work for us any longer and by crashing down, we’re getting the opportunity to choose a new way that does work for us, a new way that is more reflective of our now raised level of consciousness.

For example, we are all one. Abundance is our natural state, but we can not get rich at the expense of the poor. It may seem like the rich are better off in the short term, but if the poor suffer, the rich wind up suffering too. Notice what’s happening now to investment bankers, for example. You can not affect one part without similarly affecting everything else because it’s all literally ONE! Seeing this expressed clearly in our society, we’re now getting to (more clearly) choose consciously what type of economic/political/governmental system we want.

We don’t necessarily need to be jolted out of our old reality, but to those who are particularly attached to their old ways and are resistant to change, a jolt may be helpful as a way to say, “Snap out of it! Wake up!”

People are now being taught to let go of vibrating in harmony of what they don’t want (surrender) and vibrate in harmony with what they do want (deliberate creation) rather than worrying about and resisting what they don’t want (plain old everyday fear). By making this shift and becoming conscious of what we don’t want, we can literally vibrate ourselves right into a completely new reality, a new earth, and bring heaven down to earth.

This end of the world stuff is EXCITING! It’s not literally the end of human life altogether (though it may be now that we have nukes and all.. who knows…) but more like the end of the human life as we now know it and an entrance into something new!

We’re entering into a new era, a new level of conscious existence! =)

Just a thought. Some time ago I got the very clear impression that this is not only a breaking down of a system that is long past its prime (if it ever had one), but it’s also a means of redistributing wealth or at least of opening people up to prosperity they might not have been open to before.

I hope that’s true. I’d like to see what the world would be like if there was a lot of wealth in the hands of socially and spiritually ethical people who are interested in more than just their own greed and power.

What Bonni said is definitely an element of whats happening.
You can already see many super-rich people and some big corporations change their minds to a more loving, more holistic and service-centered way of operating.

I dont think a Nuclear war is going to happen.
On the other hand, you can observe a lowering of consciousness in some people as well. Just as Ariel said, the crap is coming out to the surface now, which includes getting rid of what is no longer needed.

If the earth speeds up its vibration/raises its level of consciousness, man has to align with that, if he wishes to continue living upon her back.
Ergo, those who are not able, or ready, to go with the flow of rising consciousness will not be able to stay here much longer.
They will simply not be able to whithstand the faster vibrations. So, its possible, that they die.
Thus being free to reincarnate in another place, suited for their level of evolution, its all unfolding perfectly, see?

Sounds right so far?

Yes, I recall what Tolle said in ‘A New Earth’ about how the oldest most rigid institutions in society will soon collapse as they make way for the new consciousness to arise.

He made a point that it was those most inflexible and impervious to change that would fall first.

I first heard that in summer ’07 when everything was cooling but still fine and dandy. Recently I was reminded of what Eckhart mentioned and it really struck me how true it was. Thus I got very excited by real proof of the new dawn coming.

Personally, I think the opportunities for entrepreneurship are vast right now, which leads to a much higher level of empowerment than sticking it out as an employee somewhere!

I don’t know about the redistribution of wealth … we don’t need to redistribute anything, there was always plenty to go ’round! We do live in an infinitely abundant Universe … it’s not like anyone who is rich is taking away anything from anyone else. No-one can take anything away from us, anyway, unless we allow it and choose it at some level. We’re all the powerful Creators of our experience!

I’m glad to see others who are rejoicing in this whole world economic collapse thingy. It’s the end of an era, yes, and the beggining of a beautiful new one. I got goosebumps reading the post and the commments (that’s my body’s inner wisdom/truth barometer telling me it is the truth).

It’s inspiring to watch the return to simplicity and values that so many had fallen away from.
The value system of the world is changing, and this whole experience that is so traumatic for some is necessary. It’s exciting to be here, right now, on the eve of this change in the worlds consiousness.
