Continuing on to Part 2 of this series of Ariel’s conversation with Abraham, we’re going to look at the idea of self-inquiry and realizing your true nature.
I just listened through my whole conversation with Abraham and am feeling ecstatic as a result. SO much was cleared up, so many of my misunderstandings were taken care of. It was mainly due to definitions, of using the same words to mean two different things, such as yesterday when I spoke about our differing definitions of Truth. I’m finding that BOTH of us are correct. The misunderstanding stemmed from the fact that we were simply using the same words to mean two different things. I will go into this more deeply over the next few days with examples so stay tuned!
I began our conversation by explaining to Abraham that as I was going within and inquiring as to whether I was this separate self of if I was truly One, REALLY looking within, Abraham responded that I was some of ALL of it, but in control of where the emphasis is.
THAT is the key point. That is money right there.
It would be like a television asking, “What channel am I? Sports? News? Porn?”
We all laughed.
I then continued and explained that when looking within, I’m finding that this idea of a separate self isn’t real and that what exists is Love and Peace and Joy and when Abraham says “follow your bliss,” that’s literally YOU that you’re following. I said that I’m finding that I AM Creation itself.
Abraham confirmed all of this to be true.
I continued to say that it doesn’t feel so much that there’s a separate self who’s creating, wanting to get into the topic of “me” being the Creator of “my” reality, but that I AM the flow of Creation.
Again Abraham agreed and then jumped in to point out that I said something was very close to one of the flawed premises as discussed earlier.
The thing is, “when you’re not being who you really are, there’s something ‘screwy’ in it” and, “there are a lot of human justifications for being this, but they’re all bogus.” The bogus justifications we make for feeling bad are all flawed premises. Being anything other than full of ecstasy and joy is the physical part of you being out of alignment with the non-physical part of you Abraham refers to as Source energy. The idea that this is necessary or just how life is is a flawed premise.
I then started discuss the practice of searching, whether in the physical or non-physical, for who I really am, and Abraham stopped me right there.
“Why is this search so…” Abraham inquired, “We want to soften the word ‘search’ because it’s so easy to find! Who you really are is so bright and big and beautiful and all your stuff (that you desire) is over there with it. In other words, it really is huge and not hard to find, but we think the reason that you think it’s so hard to find hinges on something you just said, follow your bliss.”
Abraham then pointed out that according to the emotional guidance system, it’s more difficult to find bliss from a place of despair than it is from a place of hope, for example. If you were in hope, you wouldn’t be searching for it because you’d know you’ve already given birth to everything you want and you’d know that it was all right over there in your vibrational escrow vortex and you wouldn’t be searching for it. If you were in hope, it would be easy to see.
Now that you can see it, you know exactly what to do because you can feel it. You’re feeling impulses all day every day. Almost every action you take is a right action because almost everything you do turns up good for you. When you’re in hope, that’s how it turns out. When you’re in anger or revenge or despair, you don’t have access to that.
So if you’re going to be searching for yourself, you’ve got to ask yourself, “What would be my clue?” You can’t ask others for who you are because they’ve all got different vortexes and they’re all in different places.
You can’t look to history because it doesn’t have anything to do with you.
You can’t read some book because it’s written in general terms. You have to find a way to hook up to your guidance. How would you know?
Abraham then pretended someone suggested the idea of “finding bliss” to which she responded sarcastically, “Well thanks a lot for that!” and everyone laughed.
Abraham then continued while pretending to be in a place of despair, “Bliss! Bliss! Bliss!”, with this retardedly goofy over-the-top voice, “I want some bliss! Bliss! I’m looking for bliss! Bliss!” Bliss sounds sarcastic, Abraham pointed out. “Bliss. I’m looking for bluuuhsss. Where are you going? I’m on the hunt for bliss. I heard it’s out there. I’m looking for bliss.” as we all kept laughing about it.
Abraham suggested that instead of reaching for the tip top, we start working your way up the emotional guidance scale.
Abraham then told us a story about a little girl who hid a bunch of little toy cars and wanted to hide them for Jerry and Esther who would then find the cars. Esther thought that this game might take all day long because the cars were really small and the room was very large.
The little girl then said she would give them clues. When they got closer she’d tell them they’re warmer and when they got farther she’d tell them they’re colder.
They found the little car every single time because the little girl knew where it was and she gave good clues.
So when we say we’re “searching” for something, we’ve got clues and we need to pay attention! Our emotions and how we feel are our clues.
Abraham pointed out that when we ask the question, the answer is already there so we should start listening for the answer.
If we keep saying, “I want to know and I don’t know. I want to know and I don’t know. I want to know and I don’t know. I want to know and I don’t know,” we’re never going to get the answer because we’re on the frequency of the question.
When we’re beating the drum of frequency of the problem, even though the solutions over here saying, “Over here! Over here! Over here! Follow the breadcrumbs! Over here! Over here!,” when we’re beating the drum of the problem, we’re blind to the path of the solution.
The way you feel is your breadcrumbs. The way you feel is your guidance. When you start getting that and allowing your feelings to be your guidance, then you start blending. Then you start being the blending being that you are.
To blend, you gotta move up because your Source won’t come down.
To blend, you always have to blend into the, up to the vibration of less resistance and more allowing.
When you start doing that, then you start blending yourself, being yourself, realizing yourself.
Asking the question is great. That’s step one.
Step two is the universe answering. That’s automatic.
Step three is allowing the answer in, be it through meditating in silence, surrendering to what is, or through any other means that has you let go of the attachment to the question and therefore allow the answer to come rushing in.
